ABOUT THE AUTHOR
My name is Dr. Viola Pierce. I am the CEO and founder of Viola Pierce Leadership Speaking Coaching and Training. I am also the CEO and founder of a nonprofit called the Nurse Nurturer. I have been a nurse for over 30 years. I did not start this journey out wanting to be a nurse. I started this journey out wanting to be an engineer. However, because of the financial restraints that plagued my family, I was unable to go to a university. My mother suggested that I go to the Community College. I didn't know what I wanted to study at the Community College. It was suggested by my mother that I seek nursing as a degree. And that is how I ended up here.​

I have a unique eye for understanding the gaps in the industry. When you, as nurses, can utilize the knowledge you already know, monetizing the knowledge through profitable business practices, and creating healthier communities it becomes a game-changer not only for your region but also for your family. Our goal is to change the face of healthcare as we know it along with changing our family situation.
